Minolta QMS Magicolor 2210

Mark: Very good

I own a Minolta QMS Magicolor 2210 which is a PostScript color laser printer and works very well under OS/2 and all eCS versions. It is true that the installation disks are for the dark side only, but one does not need them if you install the IBM printer drivers that are provided with eCS 1.2R (and earlier versions). One can print *.ps and *.eps files immediately, for example by copying them to the printer. Ordinary text files can be printed with the help of a three-line command script and a text-to-ps converter which exists on hobbes for years. I have no problems whatever with the 2210 printer under eCS/OS2.
