Mark: Good Hardware config: 512MB RAM, Pentium M 730 @ 1,6GHz, 100GB HS Seagate Momentus, INTEL Wireless pro 2200 equipped.
I installed eCS 1.2 without problem in VGA mode. Then I installed the latest Scitech Driver for the I915GM embedded Grrapics Adapter. USB, and LAN (Realtek 8139) worked at once, latest UniAud works, but with minor distortion in some MP3`s. WarpVision works great with widescreen movies, but SNAP refuses to use 16:10 mode with 1280x800 resolution, only 1280x1024 is possible, but accelerated. Power saving seems to work, idle power consumption is around 20W on AC. On battery the S260 operates around 4 hours (!). Commercial Socket Service from AP-Soft (Germany) works. Modem not tested. Firewire does not work yet. Wireless adapter does not work (yet).
It`s much fun to operate this nice Notebook with eCS. Especially USB works great (tested with Olympus C4000 and a FAT32 formatted external 300GB USB Drive)
