ASUS P5Q SE plus (LGA775)

Mark: Average

Its an Asus p5Q SE plus mainboard, It has an Intel LGA 775 mainboard chipset.

  • BIOS revision 2204
  • Realtek8168 NIC chipset works with genmac! Some revisions of the realtek don't work.
  • There is about 20 to 30 seconds delay because of USB drivers that are loaded.
  • But this board also works fine without ACPI loaded!
  • audio is working with UNIAUD. But the version of the driver is not important. Since its HDA audio and we are still working on fixing this.
  • ACPI loads on this system. However running with /apic /smp also works. Running it with these switches makes the system not realy useable. Something is eating up a olot of CPU time. I tested with ACPI 3.17. It booted and detected the 4 CPU core's.
