I am running eCS RC5 on a ThinkPad X41 Tablet. The tablet function does not work under eCS, neither does the fingerprint scanner, firewire or bluetooth.

What works out of the box with RC5:

• Network (both wired and wireless) using GenMac included in RC5
• Audio using uniaud
• Video using SNAP - fully accelerated and with working zooming feature
• switch off and standby works using old IBM APM (ACPI does not a good job)
• of course CD in the docking station is fine

It's light and quite powerful still and runs eCS quite nicely.

one more time: I have a X41 Tablet here and I am quite satisfied. ACPI I could not get to work reliably and audio is only good for system sounds, but not for longer videos. But network is working (both cable and wireless), APM works (the old IBM one), the docking station can be used (CD-ROM) - so the basics are covered. I did not get USB working uout of the box, but also did not do any attempts to fix this. And the X41 is just a VERY nice laptop in general.
