Martin Kiewitz 2002-05-09 19:37:16 | I'm the author of AiR-BOOT.
The current version is v0.28b (!), v0.29b is in the works...and it's definitely working with all Windoze flavours (2k, XP, 9x, NT). |

Petty 2003-02-25 00:23:46 | Boot-air.
It is very nice application.
I have one remark:
All partitions are shown. I like to hide some partition after choosing a OS. It will differ with the starting OS. Is this perhaps something for a further release? I am using it and I am very satisfied with the outcome of it.
Kind regards,

AiR Boot already works with Windows
NT/2K/XP. I have use it with that OSes about 1,5 years. |
Flippi 2004-12-26 20:09:41 | Just downloaded version 1.04 of AiR-BOOT but after installation, the program still shows version number 1.03.
Possibly zipped the wrong version.... ? |
Flippi 2005-01-29 11:56:50 | I'm using Air-Boot a few weeks now and I never had problems.
Now I installed Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. When I use this program and I reboot my system, Air-Boot doesn't start anymore and I have to use my floppy to repair.
Seems like Dreamweaver is messing up things. Is there a workaround?
Thanks! |
Joerg 2005-08-06 14:20:16 | Does anybody know about the state if Linux as bootable OS is still supported?
In "History" it says that Linux Kernel Support is dropped" in version 1.02.
Would like to install Linux or Solaris and eCS at home.

M. Kiewitz 2009-05-28 00:59:15 | Linux support was dropped, but thats directly loading kernels from within AiR-Boot. You may still install GRUB into the bootrecord of the linux partition and boot Linux that way via AiR-Boot.
@Flippi: I guess Dreamweaver writes to track 0 somehow (keys?). There wont be a workaround but to get a crack for it that removes this "feature". |
