Q1: Why do I need other sources of maps?
A1: The most popular maps are not perfect. Sometimes you need better map, in this case use other source.

Q4: What are the restrictions of program?
A4: Restrictions of Maps/2. This features are not planned:
  • Editor of maps
  • Search of location by address / keyword
  • Catalogue of organizations / companies / ..

 
Q5: Language of maps
A5: It will be improved later
 
Q6: GPS position is not correct
If you have 1 window in your room, sitting on X floor, then the application may show wrong coordinates (because only 1 satelite can see you).
If you are located on ground, no buildings around then 3 satelites will detect your position without mistakes.
 

 

 

Troubleshooting
Q1: Installer refuses because no PNG Desktop
Restart PMMaps installer and disable package: 'Big Icon for PNG Desktop'
 
Q2: PMMaps doesn't start
Did you selected 'Unlock All', 'Overwrite All' when updating eCo Software runtimes?

Check x:\POPUPLOG.OS2 file, does it contain new reports?
