Intel Pentium 133 MHz CPU or higher: such as Intel Celeron, PIII, P4, AMD K6, Athlon, Duron;
any modern CPU: the higher the frequency the better performance;
NOTE: eComStation may not detect Intel P4 HT as a dual CPU setup in all cases;
RAM
48 MB of RAM is an absolute minimum required to install eCS from CD. When starting the installation from boot floppy, the minimum required amount of RAM is 32 MB;
64 MB of RAM is a practical minimum, 4 GB is maximum supported amount. Install as much RAM as you need;
Video adapter
PCI VGA video card with at least 512 kB memory;
AGP video card supported by SciTech Display Doctor (see compatible hardware list at http://www.ecomstation.com/ );
Harddrive
500 MB of free hard drive space;
1 GB of hard drive space (that's reasonable for everyday use);
Mouse
PS/2, serial or USB mouse;
PS/2 mouse is recommended to free the USB ports;
CD-ROM
IDE or SCSI optical drive.
any IDE or SCSI CD/DVD drive capable of booting;
Network adapter
an Ethernet network adapter.
