Eirik Romstad 2011-10-14 22:50:36 | I work in a university environment with many different types of computers and operating systems connected. Our computer department does an excellent job of documenting net settings etc., so I am fully connected with my Lenovo T410, running eCS 2.1 and a Samba client to have access to other disks. It is fast and reliable.
FireFox 6.02 works well on the internet, and my ThunderBird works well on the MicroSoft exchange server.
My only problem is that some of the adminstrative routines require running terminal servers, and I have found no good terminal service program (I am open for good suggestions).
Our computer department welcomes different operating systems and solutions as it makes it easier to pinpoint the cause of errors.
