Within the next couple of days we deliver a Java Plugin (Beta version) based upon IcedTea and OpenJDK 6. We are sorry that it took more time than we estimated. At the time of writing a first version is running and being tested. See also [url] for the progress of the plugin and a screenshot, which shows it's already runs.

who ever added that news, please remove the "Program author: oracle" part asap. As this is completely wrong.

The beta plugin works with firefox an many applets. Unfortunately is not recognized as a java plugin from home banking sites that use java.
