A. Introduction

What are the icons? Symbolic images; should look better than photorealistic; Icons should be scalable, transparent, live.

  • Quality: The Quality of icons influences of usability. Poorly designed icons can lead to confusion as the user tries to guess what an icon means.
  • Scalable: User will be slower with a lot of small icons than with a few large icons.

B. Projections

eComStation icons should be drawed in projections:

As you can see, an object may be drawn in two projections:

  • visible: top and front side,
  • visible: top, front, left

ArcaOS 5.1.1 - DOS works again

DOS virtual machine works again (it was working on Core 2 Duo, and didn't for i5). Install ArcaOS in UEFI mode to use DOS VM.

PNG icons on Desktop

eCo Software: it's a significant achievement that we have created PNG icons engine for OS/2 Desktop. and designed the set of system icons. In other words, we have modernized the external view of OS/2.

Now we can discuss how to attract new users.
