Toshiba Satellite A135

Toshiba Satellite A135

Mark: Good

I bought the machine a few weeks ago with Vista on it. Was going to try a dual boot configuration but LVM reported partition errors. So wiped the HD, made 2 partitions formatted to JFS. ECS 2.0 installed just fine and works pretty well with ACPI enabled and /SMP /APIC switches. The USB devices are not recognized without ACPI. Sound seems to work fine with Uniaud, but haven't really investigated it much. I haven't figured out which NIC drivers I need yet, working on that now. In case anyone didn't already know, it runs a WHOLE lot better than it did with Vista.
