IBM NetVista

IBM NetVista

Mark: Good

Good PC for networking. Motherboard on Intel-810 chipset; Celeron-1200 CPU; integrated Intel video card and integrated Intel Pro-100 network card; 128 Mb memory; integrated sound card on AD-1887 chipset. However, there is no AGP slot, and there are only 3 PCI slots. 17~ IBM-P77 with flat Trinitron tube comes with this PC.

About drivers: DO NOT look for OS/2 drivers on IBM's site - there are only Windows drivers there. But all nested drivers can be found either on Hobbes or on Intel's site (I used SciTech SNAP for video card).

Overall: all hardware works fine. From video and USB to sound and network. But drivers were not on IBM's site.

P.S. PC has "Designed for Windows XP" label, and came with Windows2000 preinstalled, which was switched to WsEB ;)
