Have installed every eCS version since 1.1. If using latest RC2 you should choose "use own settings" and deinstall ACPI-support, otherwise it hangs. Later in install you should deselect APM (do not install) otherwise it hangs on second boot. Preselected uniaud works good, but unfortunately SNAP just support VBE (but thas quite ok, no big deal). Supports ACPI 3.3 if LINK statements are added and PCCARD socket driver are disabled. See http://svn.netlabs.org/acpi/ticket/64 . This model have no inbuilt wificard, so if you need PCCARD for that. There are drivers for the usual networkcard, shipped with eCS. You have to use socketdriver from Apsoft http://www.tssc.de/ Daniellas TI drivers don't work for me (though it should, could be some parameter to add?). Anyway its a damn good working horse computer and eCS works smothly on it.

Update!

Latest panorama vesa driver (20071120) works good. I can now enable shadow buffer, which didn't work before. Sysbench marks:

Panorama:

Overall PM graphic marks: 13.956

BitBlt S->S copy: 17.126 Million pixels/second

BitBlt M->S copy:17.276 Million pixels/second

SNAP VBE2:

Overall PM graphic marks:12.969

BitBlt S->S copy: 2.626 Million pixels/second

BitBlt M->S copy:20.058 Million pixels/second

Scrolling in webbrowser and OO is smother and so is e.g flashvideos of slideshows where there are more graphical demanding transitions.

Ideas for the developers:

eComStation developer! Keep in mind that eComStation should be your main system: make all work in eCS, using eCS tools. If you start spending 1 hour/day in other system then you stop any development for eComStation..
